messing around with some footage yesterday afternoon… works best with headphones or turned up loud, it’s probably more about the sound than the video.

haven’t posted anything lately, there hasn’t been heaps to post.

back fence (formerly known as abstraction one) is going to be screened at the NGV during the Melbourne International Arts Festival as part of Chris Doyle’s Ecstatic City.

Doyle was commissioned by Melbourne Festival to create a large-scale public work. Part temporary architecture and part video projection, Ecstatic City is situated in the moat of the NGV International. Designed as a kind of ‘miniplex marina’, viewers can explore the site and take in some remarkable and refreshing video works that have been created by some of Australia’s great moving image-makers. These will be projected continuously each day of the Festival from 11am until midnight.

a few updates in a couple of weeks, just getting a few bits and pieces sorted out.

A short work of mine has been selected for the next Tape Projects DVD, and they’re having a launch party on Saturday 6 September at Tapespace, 1/81 Bouverie St, Carlton.

screenings, music, drinks, etc. come along and have some fun.
